Trump's Family Member Receives Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance
This young athlete boasts impressive social media presence
The young golfer will have multiple prominent backers as she begins her LPGA debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates several golf courses and often plays against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she stated.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who won't be present, told her: "Simply stay calm."
"He basically suggested to go out there and enjoy myself," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."
As an amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and has position 461 in AJGA standings.
However she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with her mother.
"He represents the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's a superior individual. He advised me to play, have fun, following whatever happens."
Kai will face several top competitors in the sport at the Annika, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA stated that her participation helps introduce the sport to different demographics, especially reaching youth audiences.
Kai has a massive following and recently launched a personal apparel and wellness company.
Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
